Iberá Experience for AI agents: MCP server

What it is

Iberá Experience is the guide to the Iberá Wetlands (Corrientes, Argentina): the 10 access gateways, over 500 local providers and a catalog of experiences with the provider’s public price. This server gives that data to an AI agent through the Model Context Protocol (MCP).

With it, an assistant can search priced experiences, see the details of one, prepare a booking request, list the gateways, explain how to get there and search the provider directory. It is read-only: it writes nothing, charges nothing and confirms no bookings. Bookings are by request: the server writes the message and the person sends it to Iberá Experience, which confirms with the provider.

There are no accounts and no authentication. The server answers in Spanish, the language of the data.

The six tools

All six are read-only (readOnlyHint: true, destructiveHint: false, openWorldHint: false). Searches return up to 20 results. Every response carries a text to read and the same data in structured form (structuredContent).

The examples are real responses from the server, run on 8 October 2026 against that day’s catalog (0 published products). Long responses are shown cut short. Responses are in Spanish, as the server sends them.

`buscar_experiencias`

Search priced experiences

Searches Iberá Experience’s bookable catalog: experiences, lodging, transfers and guides in the Iberá Wetlands whose provider agreed to be distributed, with their public price and booking by request. Filters by gateway, type, group size, budget, language or free text. Returns up to 20 products (id, provider, gateway, type, price with validity date, capacity, languages, cancellation and listing link) and the total found. If the catalog has no published products, it returns an empty list with the notice "catálogo vacío" (empty catalog).

Experience details

Returns everything published about one product of the bookable catalog, looked up by its id: price and validity, duration, schedules, season, capacity, what is and is not included, cancellation, meeting point and languages, plus the provider’s listing in the app (no phone numbers or emails) and how to request the booking. An id that is not in the catalog returns an error.

`preparar_solicitud_reserva`

Prepare a booking request

Builds the booking request message for a catalog product (product, date, group size, optional first name and comment, and a reference) and returns a WhatsApp link to Iberá Experience and a mailto link with that message already written. It sends nothing, books nothing and charges nothing: the person sends the message, and the booking is confirmed only when the provider confirms it through Iberá Experience.

Returns the 10 access gateways to the Iberá Wetlands with their town, what sets each apart, best season, current alerts, park entry, number of providers by category, number of priced products in the catalog and the link to its guide.

How to get to a gateway

Returns routes, distances and travel times to a gateway from Buenos Aires, Corrientes, Posadas or Mercedes, with road conditions, the gateway’s alerts and the priced transfers in the catalog that reach it.

Search the directory (no guaranteed price)

Searches the guide’s full directory (over 500 lodgings, excursions, guides, restaurants, transfers, artisans and agencies) by gateway, category or text. Returns up to 20 providers (name, category, town, indicative price or "Consultar", rating, reviews and a link to the listing, where their contact is). It gives no phone numbers or emails, and these providers are not booked through this server.

Structured data: total, mostrados, resultados

Usage limit

Up to 120 calls every 60 seconds per IP address. Past that limit the server answers HTTP 429 with the JSON-RPC error -32000 ("Too many requests") and the header Retry-After: 60.
Searches return up to 20 results per call, with the total found.
The priced catalog is read live from inventario.json, cached for 5 minutes.

What it does not give

Provider phone numbers or emails. Each provider’s contact is on their listing in the app, which the server links to.
Anyone’s personal data. The name and comment in a booking request are only used to write the message that is returned, and are not stored.
Confirmed bookings or payments. A request is not a booking: the provider confirms it through Iberá Experience, and payment goes to the provider on their terms.
Made-up prices. Only catalog products, which the provider agreed in writing to distribute, carry a price with a validity date. The directory gives indicative prices or "Consultar" (ask).

What it records

For each call: the tool used, the gateway and type or category requested, the product id, whether it succeeded and the number of people, to learn what travellers look for. That record does not include the IP address, free text, date, name or comment. Separately, Cloudflare keeps a technical log of each request for a few days to diagnose failures.
