You do not arrive at the Iberá directly. You pass first through a town with fuel, an ATM, a hotel and food, and from there the roads to the portals set out.
These towns are not portals of the park and do not have their wildlife or their access roads: they are the stop before. The ten portals, with what you see at each one, are in the portal guide.
- MercedesThe provincial capital of Iberá tourism. A must-pass city on Route 40, 120 km from Carlos Pellegrini and 67 km from Portal Río Corriente.9
- ItuzaingóA northeastern city on Lake Yacyretá and the gateway to Portal Cambyretá. Full range of hotels and fishing for golden dorado and surubí catfish.81
