A high-biodiversity protected area where the Espinal, the Humid Chaco and the Paraná Forest meet. The central zone unfolds into open savannas with grasslands and yatay palm groves, dotted with small stands of laurel and timbó. Home to threatened birds such as the strange-tailed tyrant and the black-and-white monjita.

What only this portal has: The newest portal in the Gran Parque. Starting point of the Cruce de los Esteros, the most epic kayak crossing in Argentina.
Southern portal of the park. It is one of the ends of the Cruce de los Esteros, a crossing that takes in streams and lagoons (such as Laguna Trim and Medina) and links with Portal Carambola. The route, the direction and the length vary with the operator and the water level.

Located in the picturesque village of Carlos Pellegrini, within the Department of Mercedes. 120 km from Mercedes (40 km paved and 80 km of gravel) and 360 km from the Corrientes capital.
⚠️ To enter the Provincial Park you must buy a ticket, valid for 5 days, before booking any excursion. It is sold at the park entrance, across the bridge: coming from Mercedes on RP 40, stop there before entering the village. The National Park (Lobo Cuá sector) is free, signing in at the gate; it opens every day, 6:30 am to 7:30 pm from November to March and 7:30 am to 6 pm from April to October, and night walks run only on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays (National Parks, Sept 2026).
