The Iberá Wetlands protect more than 292 wildlife species across almost 1,300,000 hectares of lagoons, marshes, wetlands and palm groves. The mix of water, grassland and forest sustains a density of animals hard to find anywhere else in the country: that is why the Iberá is today a world-class wildlife watching destination.
