Year-round, swimming in a zigzagging fashion in clear channels and open lagoons. Best in the early morning, when they are seen fishing or basking on floating logs.

Autumn and spring for sport fishing (golden dorado and surubí catfish active from March to June and from September to November). Riverside birdwatching all year round. Snorkeling is best in the clear waters of the dry season.
