General Store Museum (Almacén de Ramos Generales) and Battle of Caá Guazú Museum, located in Chavarría, within the Río Corriente Portal. This public institution, dependent on the Corrientes Institute of Culture, preserves and disseminates the historical and cultural heritage of the region.
The museum houses two complementary spaces: one dedicated to the commercial and social life of old Corrientes towns, through the recreation of an old general store, and another that highlights the Battle of Caá Guazú, fought on November 28, 1841, one of the great victories of the Corrientes army in the civil wars, which took place near Chavarría.
