They live in groups of 10 to 20 along the shores. They are so trusting that they sometimes approach the boats on their own. At dusk you see them grazing in large groups along the lagoon's edges.
Behaviour
Semiaquatic and crepuscular. Dives with ease and can stay underwater for up to 5 minutes. Groups have one dominant male and several females with young.

Dawn and dusk at any portal. Practically guaranteed at Laguna Iberá and Galarza all year round.
