It is the splash of colour of Colonia Carlos Pellegrini: the golden-yellow male sings tirelessly from fences, aerials and eaves. It nests in cavities, even in pipes and abandoned hornero nests, and lives alongside people without fuss.
Behaviour
In pairs or small groups through gardens, dirt streets and town edges. It eats seeds on the ground.

All year round in the villages and around the lodges. It is one of the first birds every visitor logs.
