It has the sober elegance of a uniform: grey above, white below, a black line through the intense red eye. It hunts in plain sight, dropping from its post to snatch insects in the grass, and always returns to the same watchpoint.
Behaviour
Solitary or in pairs, always on exposed perches in open country. Its hunting flights are short and precise.
