You tell it from its cousin by the yellow rump and yellow flanks, as if the colour had overflowed from the breast. Flocks roam the wet grasslands chattering non-stop, and they even breed cooperatively: several adults feed the chicks of a single nest.
Behaviour
Gregarious and noisy. It walks the wet grass hunting insects, and the flock moves like a single yellow-and-black thing.

All year round in marshes and flooded grassland. The yellow flash in flight shows from hundreds of metres.
