Impossible to confuse: an enormous toad with warty skin and large glands behind the eyes. Those glands produce a chemical defence that deters almost any predator, so it strolls around at night in total calm.
Behaviour
Nocturnal and unhurried. An opportunist that works the street lights of villages and lodges: it sits under the lamp waiting for fallen insects.

Spring and summer nights. Check under the street lights of Colonia Carlos Pellegrini and the lodges: there is almost always one on duty.
