It is the cowbird that actually sings beautifully: long, varied, musical phrases shared in group sessions, several birds singing together in the same bush. It rarely builds its own nest: it prefers to occupy abandoned nests of firewood-gatherers and horneros.
Behaviour
It lives in noisy, tight family groups. It eats seeds and insects on the ground, always near trees.
